L.I.F.T - Connect3

Each Summer, the LIFT ministry, co-sponsored by the Mayfair and the Inner City Church of Christ, has been helping children in Huntsville's inner city. Kids from the Huntsville community come for a period of two weeks in July for Bible lessons, reading enhancement sessions, field trips, lunch, and devotionals. Youth groups throughout the U.S. assist in teaching 60-80 elementary-aged children. Mayfair and other congregation provides 15-18 teenagers who serve as interns, supporting each day's activities.

The Connect3 Program was started in 2006 to compliment the LIFT Program. It is for 6th through 12th grades. This program was built on the principals of instilling three factors in the life of children; spiritual, educational, and life skills. During this time, our children have the opportunity to learn about Jesus, engage in real life lessons, and connect educationally through reading for a bright future.
